Chicago
Celebrating our 17th Production

Chicago Facts
Chicago in the late '20's - A time when late nights, loud music and leggy women were the passwords to the Windy City; an era of flamboyant youth and flappers, gangsters, and gin, and hi-jinks and hilarity. All this forms the basis for the musical "Chicago", the 1976 Broadway hit which ran for nearly three years.
The original, dance-orient production ala Bob Fosse, ("All That Jazz"), featured Gwen Verdon as Roxie Hart, Chita Rivera as Velma Kelly, and Jerry Orbach as the shyster lawyer, Billy Flynn.
